Recommended places to stay:

  Info on Wildwood Motor Lodge, (209) 586-2900, located in beautiful forested town in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, surrounded by pines. Kathryn checked rooms - very nice, newly remodeled; no smoking; Pool; can walk to public golf course, shopping, restaurants, and immense playground. Short drive to wedding site, Rehearsal dinner, 10 minutes to Griebels', less than 15 to Mullins'.  Close to tennis courts.   Short drive to Sonora, Pinecrest Lake, trails. etc.

           Rate is $99 per night unless we reserve a block of 8 or more, Then it's $89. Let Kathryn know if you are interested in staying here, and we'll go for the discount if we have enough requests. You can make your reservation and let them know that you are with the Mullins wedding group.

 Local Info and Attractions
 

Sierra Reparatory Theater-   local renown repertory Theater featuring Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat  Thursday show is at 7 pm. would be fun to go as a group! Children 6 and under not allowed. Tickets are not cheap but Performances and talent are always                                                                        

 

Pinecrest Lake - swimming, hiking, paddle boats, outdoor movie theater in the Pines.

 
Yosemite National Park - can be a day trip from the Sonora area. Entrance is about 1 hour away. We've driven there, hiked to a few waterfalls, had a picnic lunch, toured the Awahnee Hotel, driven around the valley and been back in Sonora by 6 pm. Also, Chris can fly passengers over the park and other parts of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in his private plane
